The Weight of ‘Laa ilaaha illAllaah’ – Shaykh Saalih as-Suhaymee
The Weight of ‘Laa ilaaha illAllaah’
`Abdullaah ibn `Amr said, “Allaah’s Messenger sallAllaahu ` alayhi wa sallam said,
‘A man from my nation will be called out in front of the whole of the creation on the Day of Resurrection. So ninety-nine scrolls will be laid out for him. Each of the scrolls will be as far as the eye can see. Then it will be said, “Do you deny anything from this?” So he will say, “No, O my Lord.” So it will be said, “Do you have any excuse or any good deed?” So the man will fear and he will say, “No.” So it will be said: “Yes indeed, you have good deeds with Us. You will not be wronged with regard to them.” So a parchment will be brought out for him containing, ‘I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allaah and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger. So he will say, “O my Lord, what is this parchment in comparison to those scrolls?” So it will be said, “You will not be wronged.” So the scrolls will be placed on one scale and that parchment will be placed on one scale. So the scrolls will be lighter and the parchment will outweigh.’”
Reported by Ibnul-Mubaarak in his book az-Zuhd and in his Musnad and by Imaam Ahmad and by at-Tirmithee and Ibn Maajah and others besides.
Shaykh al-Albaanee declared this hadeeth saheeh, authentic.
Shaykh Saalih as-Suhaymee hafizahullaah mentioned some points of benefit with regard to this hadeeth. He said, “The hadeeth contains a number of points of benefit.
“The first benefit is that the people of sins will be beneath al-mashee·ah (Allaah’s Will and Wish). If Allaah wishes He will forgive them by His favour. And if He wishes He will punish them by His justice.
“The second point of benefit is that whoever is such that his eemaan (true belief) and his towheed is strong, and his attachment to Allaah the Mighty and Majestic, this fact may be a means for wiping away all of his evil deeds. And there is no clearer proof for this than the fact that this small parchment will outweigh and overcome all of the rest of the scrolls.
“The third point of benefit is that the person who is guilty of major sin, he does not become a disbeliever, as the Khawaarij and the Mu`tazilah claimed. Rather he is beneath mashee·atullaah (the Wish and Will of Allaah). So even if he is punished, then still he will not remain forever in the Fire.
“The fourth point of benefit is the tremendous virtue of Laa ilaaha illAllaah, none has the right to be worshipped except Allaah over the rest of deeds. So when a Muslim says it, knowing its meaning and acting in accordance with it, then that is the case, tremendous.
“The fifth point of benefit is establishment of al-meezaan (Balance of deeds) with which the deeds will be weighed on the Day of Resurrection, and that it is a balance which is true and real. It will be erected on the Open Plain of the Resurrection before the passing over the Siraat (Bridge). This is the most correct of the sayings which the People of Knowledge mention.”

The Bequest of Nooh (alayhi as-Salaam) to his Son at the time of his Death – Shaykh Naasiruddeen al-Albaanee
The bequest of Nooh – alayhi as-Sallam
134 – “When death was approaching the Prophet of Allaah Nooh -sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam – he said to his son: I will narrate to you my bequest; I command you with two things and prohibit you from two things. I command you with ‘La ilaha ‘illa Allaah’ (‘There is none worthy of worship in truth except Allaah) if the seven heavens and the seven earths were placed upon a scale and ‘La ilaha ‘illa Allaah’ was placed on the other, then ‘La ilaha ‘illa Allaah’ would be heavier.
If the seven heavens and the seven earths were a closed off circle then ‘La ilaha ‘illa Allaah’ would be able to break it.
The second thing I command you with is Subhana Allaahi wa bihamdihi (Far is Allaah from imperfection and praise is for Him), since it is a supplication for everything, and by it the creation is given its provision. I prohibit you from shirk and pride.
-
( the narrator said: I asked or someone asked) : O Messenger of Allaah as for shirk then we know about it, but what is pride? Is it that one of us has sandals with two good straps?
The Messenger answered: No.
He asked again: is it that one of us has companions and they sit with him?
The Messenger again answered: No.
Someone asked: O Messenger of Allaah, what is pride?
He said: ridiculing the truth and belittling the people and reviling them.”
Silsilah Saheehah: 134
From the benefits of the hadeeth:
I say: there are many benefits from this hadeeth; I will suffice by indicating to some of them:
1- The permissibility of writing a bequest at the time of death.
2- The excellence of saying ‘La ilaha ‘illa Allaah’ and saying Subhana Allaah and that they are a cause for the creation to receive provision from Allaah.
3- The scales on the Day of Judgment are true and real, and they have two pans. This is from the belief of the ahl-ul Sunnah, opposing that of the Mu’tazilah and their followers in the modern times. Who do not believe that which has been affirmed regarding ‘Aqeedah in the authentic Ahadeeth, with the claim that these are Ahkbaar al-Ahad (singular narrations) which do not convey certainty. I have exposed this claim in my book ‘with ustaadh at-Tantawee’.
4 – The seven earths are like the seven heavens. There are many Ahadeeth regarding this in Bukharee and Muslim and in other books. Perhaps one day we will have time to follow up these Ahadeeth and research them. What supports these Ahadeeth is the saying of Allaah Tabaraka wa Ta’ aala : << It is Allaah Who has created seven heavens and of the earth the like thereof (i.e. seven). >> I.e. they are similar in creation and in number.
So, you should not pay any attention to the one who explains it away, there by it ends up as a negation of similarity as well as in numbers, being deceived by the Europeans and where their knowledge has reached to, from having gone up in to space however they do not know of seven earths, along with that they do not know about seven heavens. Will we reject the speech of Allaah and the speech of His Messenger due to the ignorance of the Europeans and others along with them, declaring that the more they increase their knowledge of the universe, the more they increase in their ignorance of it. Allaah the Most Great has spoken the truth when He said : << And of knowledge, you (mankind) have been given only a little>>
5 – That beautification with good clothing has nothing to do with pride what so ever. Rather, it is a matter which is permissible, because Allaah is Beautiful and He loves beauty, like the Messenger of Allaah -sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam – said regarding this issue, as is narrated by Muslim in his ‘Saheeh’.
6- Pride which has been equated with Shirk will not allow entrance in to Paradise for the one who has an equivalent of an atoms worth. That is the pride, which is rejecting the truth after it has been made clear, and defaming innocent people without truth. So, the Muslim should be extremely cautious from being characterized with this type of pride, just like he should be extremely cautious from being characterized with the Shirk which places its companion in the Hell-fire for eternity.
All Praise belongs to Allaah, may His peace and blessings be upon our final Prophet Muhammad, his family, his companions and all those who follow his guidance

What ash-Shaykh al-Albaanee said about himself after he became 84yrs old!
In Saheeh Mawaarid al-Dhamaan (2087) – The hadeeth of Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said, “The Messenger of Allaah (sallallaahualaihi wasallam) said,“The lifespan of (the people from) my ummah is between sixty to seventy years and few will go beyond that.” Ibn ‘Arafah said, “And I am from those few.”
So the Shaykh (may Allaah have mercy on him) commented by saying:
“I say: I am also from amongst those few, since I have passed eighty four. I ask the Lord, the One free from all imperfections and the Most High, to make me amongst those whose life span is prolonged and their actions are beautified.
But even then, sometimes I nearly wish for death due to what has afflicted the Muslims from deviations in their deen, and the humiliation that has befallen them from the lowest of mankind. But Allaah forbid, and the hadeeth of Anas is before me. So it is not suitable for me to say anything except that which my Prophet (sallallaahualaihi wasallam) has ordered me with, “O Allaah keep me alive as long as life is good for me and take my life if that is good for me.”
And I supplicate with that which my Prophet (sallallaahualaihi wasallam) has taught me, “O Allaah provide us with the provision of our hearing, and our sight, and our strength as long as we are alive and make it a legacy from us.”
And indeed the One free from all imperfections has favoured me and responded by providing me with all of that. So I am able to research, authenticate, and write with the strength that very few have, and I pray the involuntary prayers standing, and I drive my car by myself covering vast distances, and at high speeds about which some of those who are close to me have advised me to reduce, but I have an explanation for that which is known to some of them!
I say this from the point, “And proclaim the bounty of your Lord.” (ad-Duhaa:11)
Hoping from my Lord, the One free from all imperfections and the Most High, that He increases His favours upon me, and makes all of that a legacy from me, and that He takes my life away while I am a Muslim, upon the Sunnah, for which I have dedicated my life in calling to and writing for. And that He unites me with the martyrs and the righteous, and they are the best companions, indeed He is the All-Hearing, the One who responds.
May Allaah have mercy on the Shaykh and grant him Firdaws.

The Fair Females with wide lovely eyes –The Women of Paradise
The reason behind the description of the women of Paradise is so that one is made eager to perform righteous actions.
The beauty of the Hoor Al-Ain (the fair females with wide lovely eyes in Jannah) is neither viewed from one perspective nor is any mind able to comprehend it. Those fair females with wide lovely eyes combine between beauty in their physical form, beauty in all aspects and good manners. One is amazed by their beauty whenever he glances at them because their beauty is always renewed. They have that glitter in their smile for their husbands that does not have a likeness in this worldly life; so what does one think if he were to kiss them and tastes the enjoyment from that kiss?
Sexual intercourse in this worldly life becomes tiresome and leads to weakness after some time as opposed to sexual intercourse with the women of paradise; because sexual intercourse with the women of Paradise makes a person more lively and active, and the man’s wife in Paradise will neither be bored nor tired with him. Likewise the virginity of the women of Paradise will not be lost permanently like the virginity of the women of this worldly life, rather whenever the women of Paradise are disvirgined, their virginities are renewed and the man’s reproductive organ is always erected. The men of paradise are given the strength of hundred men put together; so whoever preserves his private parts, guards his eye sight and his hearing from the forbidden, he will be from the people with the most strength in Paradise and he will receive the most enjoyment in sexual intercourse.
Likewise, sometimes argumentation, differing and trouble takes place between married couples leading to divorce; however none of this will take place between the spouses in Paradise.

The Resurrection – A Summary of Events to Occur, by Shaikh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-’Uthaymeen
The Resurrection – A Summary of Events to Occur

Translated selections from Muḥammad Ibn Ṣāliḥ al-‘Uthaymīn’s explanation of
“al-‘Aqīdah al-Wāsiṭiyyah” by Ibn Taymiyyah and “Lum’ah al-I’tiqād” by Ibn Qudāmah al-Maqdisī
The Day of Resurrection, the Day of Judgment, is called the “last day” because it is a day after which there will be no other. It is the final stage. It is the end goal of all the stages through which we pass (i.e., nonexistence, creation in the womb, life, death and the grave, then the hereafter), and it is the end of our journey.
Allah ( تعالى ) says:
<<Then, after that you will all certainly die. Then indeed you all, on the Day of Resurrection, will be resurrected>>
[Sūrah al-Muminūn, 23:15-16.]The resurrection is when mankind will rise from their graves to stand before the Lord of creation. Ibn Taymiyyah, in his book “al-‘Aqīdah al-Wāsiṭiyyah,” calls this “the greater resurrection” indicating there is also a lesser resurrection. This lesser resurrection is the one pertaining to each individual as they witness with their own eyes the beginning of the hereafter, their new life after their death. So each individual has his own resurrection; when he or she dies, his or her lesser resurrection has begun.

“I am not on my Deen right now because I want to give Islam all of me, and right now I can’t do that.” – Shaykh Ahmad Umar Bazmool
100% or Nothing ?
Published on 6 Jun 2012 by SalafyInk
Post Courtesy for the Below: Abu Bilal Nahim @ KSA_dawah Google group
The following question has been extracted from a posting on www.salafyink.com may Allah reward our brother imensely for their efforts.
The links for the two part series of Q&A asked to Shaykh Ahmad Umar Bazmool can be found at the end of this post.
Second Question: Some Muslims who are not practicing say, “I am not on my Deen right now because I want to give Islam all of me, and right now I can’t do that.“ So they leave everything that Allaah made incumbent upon them due to this claim. (Meaning) they say: “I don’t want to practice just half way (one foot in and one foot out), I want to practice all the way. However because of the sins I’m committing right now, I don’t want to mix this with Islam.”
So what is your advice regarding this?
Shaykh: You mean that he is Muslim, but he is a sinner?
Questioner [Abu Yusuf Khaleefah]: Yes.
Answer: We say to him that there is nothing wrong that you remain upon your sins and you continue upon them up until Allaah blesses you to make a sincere tawbah – however with a condition, and it is that you are guaranteed that you will not die except after you make tawbah! Also that you are guaranteed that you will live until a time that these sins will not affect you and your heart.
This is because sins place a covering on the heart which can hinder one from making tawbah, may Allaah not decree this.
So a Muslim does not have a guarantee for himself that he won’t die right now while still upon sins. So what excuse does a person make? They say, “but Allaah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” Yes, but He is also Severe in punishment. So it is incumbent that the Muslim does not feel safe from the plotting of Allaah. And it is incumbent that he does (righteous) actions and repents to Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic. So I’m mentioning these things in the beginning of this answer – as it is said – to sort of relate to the questioner according to the level of his intellect.
However if you are a Muslim who really comprehends what you are saying here, then listen to the following points:
The first point: who said to you that Islam wants from you that you be a Muslim who does not commit any sin at all? The Prophet – salla Allaahu alayhi wa sallam – said: “All of the children of Adam makes many mistakes and the best of those who make mistakes are those who repent.” [Authenticated by al-Albaanee in Saheeh Sunan Ibn Maajah (no.3428).]
So he – salla Allaahu alayhi wa sallam – clarified that the children of Adam (i.e. people) fall into mistakes and errors, excluding the Prophets and Messengers, and the best of these people are those who often repent. He didn’t say those who are persistent upon sins, then they make tawbah at the end. So this is the first thing.
Secondly: The Prophet – salla Allaahu alayhi wa sallam – said to his companions: “If it wasn’t that you all commit sins, Allaah would have brought a people who commit sins, and He would forgive them,” or close to this meaning said by the Prophet, ‘alayhis salaam.
So who said to you it is requested that you be a Muslim one hundred per cent never falling into error. No doubt that this affair is good but who can guarantee this? This is a high level. If we made it a condition for all of the Muslims, no one would ever repent.
The third matter: come with me and ponder over the statement of Allaah the Mighty and Majestic:
كَلَّا بَلْ رَانَ عَلَى قُلُوبِهِممَّا كَانُوا يَكْسِبُونَ
Nay, but Rân has been placed over their hearts because of what they used to earn.”
(Al-Mutaffifin 83:14)
(The word in the beginning of the ayah) Kalla, is a statement of rebukement. And as for Rân, it means that He placed a seal over the hearts of these people. As for His statement, “because of what they used to earn,” meaning the acts they used to commit. So what is the (general) meaning of the ayah? It means, due to their sins, a seal was placed over their hearts, so they could not make repentance nor can they ask for forgiveness.
That which supports this is the narration of the Prophet – salla Allaahu alayhi wa sallam – and this is the fourth matter: “If a person commits a sin, a black spot is placed over his heart. And if he repents and refrains, it will be wiped away. However if he sins and persists upon the sins, the spots will return up until the heart becomes totally black resembling an upside down mug. It will not recognize any good nor will it rebuke any evil.” [Declared 'hasan,' by al-Albaanee in Saheeh al-Jami' al-Saghir (1666)]
This is because of sins and not making tawbah and not returning to Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic. Also, shaytaan hopes that he can win over a person by this statement [in question]. Outwardly, this statement seems good but the reality is that it is evil. This is because this means, it is as if you deem Allah too great that you sin and repent, and you deem Allah too great to fall into opposition to His command, so (based on your understanding) you (will just) remain persistent upon your sins until you’re ready to repent (for good). However in reality this is an evil (thought). Also look at the advice of the Prophet – salla Allaahu Alayhi wa sallam – to Mu’adh, may Allaah be pleased with him – when he said: “O Mu’adh, fear Allaah wherever you may be.” Allaah is with you [by His knowledge] wherever you may be, He sees you, and He knows your condition and He’s with you with His Knowledge, the Mighty and Majestic.
… وَهُوَ مَعَكُمْ أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ …
“…And He is with you wherever you may be…”
(Hadeed: 57: 4)
”O Mu’adh fear Allaah wherever you may be and follow up a bad deed with a good deed, and it will erase it.”
These are priceless words of advice. If you fall into a sin, all of the children of Adam fall into many sins, repent to Allaah, seek Allaah’s forgiveness, pray two Rak’ahs for repentance to Allaah, give sadaqah, glorify Allaah, read the Qur`aan, do righteous deeds. Why all of this? So sins won’t cause a seal to be placed upon your heart.
And your statement “I don’t want to repent because I want to be a believer 100 per cent.” Does not the statement of the Prophet – salla Allaahu alayhi wa sallam – refute this? “And follow up a bad deed with a good deed.” Look: are you better or the Prophet – salla Allaahu alayhi wa sallam? Who is more knowledgeable concerning Allaah? The Messenger of Allaah – salla Allaahu alayhi wa sallam – is the most knowledgeable concerning Allaah, and he is the one who pointed us to that which earns the pleasure of Allaah and he pointed us to follow up a bad deed with a good deed. He didn’t say, sin, sin, sin, and then repent.
I end this answer with a (another) great hadeeth and it is a glad tidings for me and you and every sinner. The Prophet – salla Allaahu alayhi wa sallam – informed of this glad tiding. He said: “If a slave commits a sin, then seeks forgiveness, Allaah will say to the angels: My slave committed a sin and then he sought my forgiveness and I forgave him. Then he committed another sin, and Allaah will say: My slave committed a sin and sought my forgiveness and I forgave him. Then the slave will commit another sin (and repented). So Allaah will say: My slave committed a sin and sought my forgiveness, and I forgave him. I testify you O My angels that I have forgiven him.”
So look, (that one) makes tawbah, and then falls into a sin and then makes tawbah, and then falls into a sin. This is not from playing games and this is not from making mockery of Allaah or falling short. Rather this is the war between [us and] shaytaan who said:
قَالَ فَبِعِزَّتِكَ لَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
[Iblîs (Satan)] said: “By Your Might (Oh my Lord) I will lead all of them astray”
(Sad: 38: 82)
And also it shows that the door of tawbah is always open, concerning which Allaah has said: “And by My Might I will indeed forgive them so long as they seek forgiveness from me.”
So this is the war and struggle between us and shaytaan, so beware, beware of this statement. Repent to Allaah, and seek His forgiveness every time you fall into a sin, and do not despair from the mercy of Allaah, the Mighty and Majestic. And Allaah said:
يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا تُوبُوا إِلَى اللَّهِ تَوْبَةً نَّصُوحًا
“Oh you who believe: turn in repentance to Allaah with a sincere repentance…”
(At-Tahrim 66:8)
‘Umar and other than him from the companions and the Salaf said: Sincere repentance is that after you fall into a sin, then repent from it and never return to it up until death. Yes, this is a very high level and – if you can do it – this is something good. However that you remain upon sins and you say, ‘I want to just make one tawbah for everything.’ …Just as I said to you in the beginning, who can guarantee for you that you will live to a time you can make tawbah, and who is it that can guarantee that you will have a heart that will incline to making tawbah after it was sealed due to constant sinning? So – by Allaah – be steadfast in turning (in repentance) to Allaah.

Sulaiman Al-Rajhi’s life a rags to riches story
ref: http://arabnews.com/sulaiman-al-rajhi%E2%80%99s-life-rags-riches-story
Saudi Arabia’s rags-to-riches billionaire Sulaiman Al-Rajhi is also a world-renowned philanthropist. He is the founder of Al-Rajhi Bank, the largest Islamic bank in the world, and one of the largest companies in Saudi Arabia. As of 2011, his wealth was estimated by Forbes to be $7.7 billion, making him the 120th richest person in the world. His flagship SAAR Foundation is a leading charity organization in the Kingdom. The Al-Rajhi family is considered as one of the Kingdom’s wealthiest non-royals, and among the world’s leading philanthropists.
Al-Rajhi is a billionaire who chose last year to become a poor man at his own will without having any cash or real estates or stocks that he owned earlier. He became penniless after transferring all his assets among his children and set aside the rest for endowments. In recognition of his outstanding work to serve Islam, including his role in establishing the world’s largest Islamic bank and his regular contribution toward humanitarian efforts to fight poverty, Al-Rajhi was chosen for this year’s prestigious King Faisal International Prize for Service to Islam.
In an interview with Muhammad Al-Harbi of Al-Eqtisadiah business daily, Al-Rajhi speaks about how he was able to succeed in convincing chiefs of the leading central banks in the world, including that of the Bank of England, nearly 30 years ago that interest is forbidden in both Islam and Christianity, and that the Islamic banking is the most effective solution to activate Islamic financing in the world and make it a real boost to the global economy.
The story of Al-Rajhi is that of a man who made his fortunes from scratch, relying on grit and determination. Al-Rajhi threw away his huge wealth through two windows — distributed a major part of his inheritance among his children and transferred another portion to endowments, which are regarded as the largest endowment in the history of the Islamic world. He had to fight poverty and suffering during his childhood before becoming a billionaire through hard work and relentless efforts, and then leaving all his fortunes to become penniless again.
Al-Rajhi is still very active and hardworking even in his 80s with youthful spirits. He begins his work daily after morning prayers and is active until Isha prayers before going to bed early. He is now fully concentrated on running the endowment project under his SAAR Foundation, and traveling various regions of the Kingdom managing activities related with it. He always carries a pocket diary containing his daily programs and activities and he is accustomed to stick on to the schedule he had prepared well in advance.
Al-Rajhi scored excellent performance results in almost all businesses in which he carved out a niche for himself. In addition to establishing the world’s largest Islamic bank, he founded the largest poultry farm in the Middle East. The credit of activating the organic farming experiment in the Kingdom mainly goes to him through launching a number of farming projects, including Al-Laith shrimp farming. He also established real estate and other investment projects.

Fear Allaah and Do Not Depend Upon Intercession! – Shaykh Rabee’
Fear Allaah and Do Not Depend Upon Intercession! – Shaykh Rabee’
Translated by Abu Yusuf Khaleefah
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
The Allaamah Shaykh Rabee’ ibn Haadi (may Allaah preserve him) stated:
“There has come narrations concerning the matter of intercession like the the narration of Abu Sa’eed, the narration of Anas and the narration of Abu Hurayrah. Within these narrations (we find) that Allaah brings out of the hell-fire the one who has in his the least amount of faith from those who said “Laa Ilaaha Illallaah”. We benefit from the narration that whoever meets Allaah bearing witness that none has the right to be worshiped except for Allaah sincerely, Allaah will remove him from the hell-fire, even if he has the least amount of faith. That’s because faith increases and decreases. It increases with obedience to Allaah and decreases with the acts of disobedience. It continues to decrease and decrease until the point nothing remains from it except the least amount/an atoms weight. As a result of that, Allaah removes a people from the hell-fire. However with that being said, it is not befitting for the Muslim to depend intercession and embark upon acts of disobedience. Indeed that is a tremendous danger (for a number of reasons):
1. It’s possible that the Muslim can apostate. That’s because the acts of disobedience leads to disbelief. It’s possible that the person’s acts of disobedience can drag him into disbelief and leaving from the fold of Islaam. That’s by the faith decreasing and decreasing until the point it ceases to be by the committing of that which causes the person to be a disbeliever. As a result of that Allaah will not forgive him and he will not allow anyone to intercede on his behalf. Rather his destination will be eternal (punishment) in the hell-fire.
2. Even if his sins and acts of disobedience doesn’t reach the point of disbelief. Rather he is from those who meet Allaah with something of faith along with tawheed and truthfulness in that faith, even if it is the least amount, he will come out of the hell-fire by way of intercession. Therefore whoever meets Allaah not associating with Him anything, his faith is sincerely for Allaah, he says “Laa Ilaaha Illallaah Muhammad Rasoolullaah” and he is sincere in that. If he was to meet Allaah with sins that are similar to the mountains, if Allaah wills, He will pardon him as has come in the narration of the Bitaaqah (the card). If He wills, He will punish him according to his sins. Then after that He will remove him due to his faith, his Tawheed and sincerity (from the hell-fire). However who from amongst is ready to remain in the hell-fire for fifty thousand years?!!
This (punishment is for) the one who didn’t pay the Zakaah. He will remain for fifty thousand years in the punishment (of the hell-fire). How much more so for the one who keeps away from the Salaah?
Therefore the person should not take this matter lightly and depend upon the narrations of intercession and say: The prophets and the righteous will intercede for the people of the hell-fire!!
Indeed it is obligatory that you fear Allaah (with knowledge) and fear Him (due to Him being able to punish you). You have to strive in the performance of the righteous actions and don’t procrastinate in the committing of sins. rather hasten to repentance.
If you fall into a sin, repent to Allaah azza wa jall. Allaah azza wa jall has praised those who don’t remain consistent upon the committing of sins. Allaah azza wa jall has stated:
“And those who when they commit indecency or wrong themselves, they remember Allaah and as a result of that they seek forgiveness for their sins. Who is the one forgives except for Allaah. And they don’t remain consistent upon that which they did while they know better.” (Aali ‘Imraan: 135)
In an authentic narration (the Prophet said):
“Be aware of (that which is considered) the insignificant sins. For indeed they gather up upon the person until they destroy him.” (Musnad of Ahmad 1/402)
Allaah’s refuge is sought from that. The Prophet (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) stated:
“Protect yourself from the fire even if it is with half of a date.” (Bukhaari and Muslim)
Allaah has stated:
“Fear the fire whose fuel is man and stones prepared for the disbelievers.” (Al-Baqarah: 24)
Many from the people of disobedience will accompany the disbelievers in this hell-fire even if they come out of it due to intercession. However who from amongst us is prepared to remain in the hell-fire for a period of time, and the refuge is sought with Allaah?!”

Ibn al-Jawzi on the Dying Person’s Alertness
Ibn al-Jawzi on the Dying Person’s Alertness
Giftsofknowledge.wordpress.com
The Shaikh, the Imaam, the Allaamah, the Shaikh of Islaam, Abul-Faraj Abdur-Rahmaan ibn Ali ibn Muhammad ibn al-Jawzi, said:
“From the most interesting things is the alertness of the dying person at the time of his death–for he becomes perceptive to a degree which cannot be described, and worried to an extent that has no limits.
And he yearns for his times of old, and wishes that he be left so that he can make up for what passed him by, and so that he can be truthful in his repentance in accordance with the level of certainty he [now] has about death.
And he–out of grief–almost kills his own soul before its [actual] death.
And if a [single] atoms weight of these things were found at the time of health and well-being, everything that is intended by doing pious deeds would be achieved.
So the intellectual one is he who pictures that hour and acts according to what it requires. And if he is not able to do that, then he visualises it as much as he is able to, for it will prevent desire’s hand, and will arouse seriousness/earnestness [in him].
As for the person who has that hour right before his very eyes [i.e., is always thinking about it in order to prepare], then he is like its prisoner.
As is reported about Habib al-Ajami. When he would wake in the morning he would say to his wife, ‘If I die today, then let so and so be the one who washes me, and so and so be the ones who carry me.’
And al-Ma’roof said to a person, ‘Pray the midday prayer [dhur] with us!’ So he replied, ‘If I pray the midday prayer [dhur] with you I’m not going to pray the afternoon prayer [asr] with you.’ So al-Ma’roof said, ‘And it is as though you have hope that you will live till asr? I seek refuge with Allaah from having lengthy/drawn out hopes.’ And a person backbit another, so al-Ma’roof said, ‘Remember the cotton when they place it on your eyes [at the time of death].’”
